#Science - Gardening

In West Africa it is hot. But if you find the right timing and water your plants regularly - there is a chance that you succeed. My Grade 1 students planted pumpkin seeds next to our classroom and were super excited. I assigned specific roles as a Water Officers and Inspectors. These students rotated regularly and took care of the plants. Even though we couldn’t harvest the real pumpkins (the type of seeds was not right for the climate) it was a great project.
