# Class Life 4 + 1 Rotation System Semi-independent work centers
After the Winter Break, I change the lesson structure and add some new features. We follow this system (4+1 rotation), weekly or monthly, depending on what goals we have.
Students rotate every 25 minutes and work independently on the assignment (ready before they enter the room - art instruction and materials, iPads, passwords, and login credentials).
The 5th group is working with me and usually, it is a guided reading session.
After 25 minutes it is student transition time (2 minutes). Students look at the board, find their names and move accordingly.
For each student, I also prepare a weekly report according to their work.
Students have their own version of the weekly report and every rotation session they gather the data.
I also add some weekly reports from Raz-Kids and Achieve 3000 to student files in the cabinet and use them during PTC or setting goals with students.
